NO H8 Campaign PSA

In conjunction with the California Supreme Court's ruling yesterday to uphold Proposition 8, the NO H8 Campaign has released its response with our first official PSA (Public Service Announcement). Familiar faces including Perez, B. Scott, Calpernia Addams, Michael Maize, Tila Tequila, Ian Harvie, Michael Serrato, Amy Hill, Brook Lee, and Shanna Moakler join the other members of our amazing ensemble of everyday supporters of our fight for equal rights.

I had the honor of writing and directing the PSA, and will be working on more in the future - so please make sure to check it out. :)

Now more than ever, it's time to stand up and make your silence heard!

The NO H8 Campaign

The NO H8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest founded in November 2008 by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley in response to California's Proposition 8 to ban same-sex marriage.

Beginning with Jeff Parshley's own NO H8 photo, the campaign quickly snowballed to include an incredibly diverse sampling of the GLBT community and their supporters. They had their first gallery opening about a month ago, and have continued to add to their roster of participants. Even I took a photo!

I recently had the opportunity to write and direct the first official PSA (Public Service Announcement) for the campaign, featuring such familiar faces as Perez Hilton, Shanna Moakler, Tila Tequila, former Miss Universe Brook Lee, Calpernia Addams, and so many more!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in making this happen, on both sides of the camera. As soon as the PSA is online, I'll make sure to post it here! :)

CF: Comic Book Artwork!

I recently received this fan art from a talented graphic designer by the name of Kristopher Fox, a friend of CELESTIAL FURY's Brant Daugherty (MAGE): A mock-up premiere issue for the 1st Episode of Celestial Fury!

Thanks Kris, it looks amazing!

Rangercast Guest Panelling

Once in awhile, I'm asked to appear as one of the guest panelists on Rangercast, a popular Power Rangers podcast. We recorded Episode 113 last night, which discussed the premiere episodes of Power Rangers: RPM (PR's 17th and final season - yes, it's still on the air!). Chances are if you don't watch the show you won't enjoy it too much, but if you do - check it out!

You can download Episode #113 from iTunes or from Rangercast's website, which you can access by clicking the logo below!

Something Nice Back Home

EDIT: Thumbnail links fixed!!

These are a few of my favorite pictures I took during my freshman year at Ithaca College in upstate NY. Ithaca had some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen, which inspired me to dig out my digital camera and snap off a few photos one weekend.

Some of these were taken on a random campus excursion, while the others were taken hiking through one of Ithaca's many gorges (which they're famous for!).

Click on the thumbnails below to see the complete picture. I apologize for the size - I originally edited these back in Spring of 2004!

Looking at these makes me miss photography. And Ithaca.

Must find copy of Photoshop.

Celestial Fury Website

The official MySpace for Celestial Fury is now online. Though it's still under construction, the site has been uploaded with some brand new content while we work on developing the space.

Hopefully, we'll officially launch the website in tandem with the trailer we're working on now. Until then, you can visit the site at www.celestialfury.com or click on the logo below!

NOTE: You do not have to be a member of MySpace to see our website.

We'll be loading up the website with new content and updates on the status of the film as regularly as we can, so make sure to check it out!

Project Zefron?

In lieu of finding a real job, I've been helping advise Brant on developing an acting/modeling career. We set up a comp-card shoot with another close friend, photographer Adam Bouska.

I love this picture because with the purple, it reminds me of what Mage's dangerously sexy civilian disguise could potentially look like in an unseen, unproduced episode of Celestial Fury.

You can check out more test photos from Adam's shoot with Brant on his official blog.
