Something Nice Back Home

EDIT: Thumbnail links fixed!!

These are a few of my favorite pictures I took during my freshman year at Ithaca College in upstate NY. Ithaca had some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen, which inspired me to dig out my digital camera and snap off a few photos one weekend.

Some of these were taken on a random campus excursion, while the others were taken hiking through one of Ithaca's many gorges (which they're famous for!).

Click on the thumbnails below to see the complete picture. I apologize for the size - I originally edited these back in Spring of 2004!

Looking at these makes me miss photography. And Ithaca.

Must find copy of Photoshop.

Celestial Fury Website

The official MySpace for Celestial Fury is now online. Though it's still under construction, the site has been uploaded with some brand new content while we work on developing the space.

Hopefully, we'll officially launch the website in tandem with the trailer we're working on now. Until then, you can visit the site at www.celestialfury.com or click on the logo below!

NOTE: You do not have to be a member of MySpace to see our website.

We'll be loading up the website with new content and updates on the status of the film as regularly as we can, so make sure to check it out!

Project Zefron?

In lieu of finding a real job, I've been helping advise Brant on developing an acting/modeling career. We set up a comp-card shoot with another close friend, photographer Adam Bouska.

I love this picture because with the purple, it reminds me of what Mage's dangerously sexy civilian disguise could potentially look like in an unseen, unproduced episode of Celestial Fury.

You can check out more test photos from Adam's shoot with Brant on his official blog.

Back to Work

I loved being back in Chicago for three weeks, but now it's back to the grind. Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays as much as I did!

Here's some news, along with an idea of what to expect in the coming weeks.
  • I've been spending a lot of time lately developing a feature I'll refer to as "UGSP" - which isn't the title, don't worry! Just a code name. I've worked through two drafts of the script over the past three years, and am prepping to do a massive Page One rewrite - but I'm excited!
  • I also got my hands on the 1TB LaCie External Hard Drive - hurray!
  • Expect some exciting updates on Voluntary as well as developments concerning an upcoming Celestial Fury trailer! I've already gotten the first pass at Voluntary's brand new soundtrack and the sound design already has me giddy.
  • I have no idea what happened with the interview set up with Stephen Lamesford for HJU. He was doing it, then he stopped responding to everyone. If he ever gets around to participating, I'll post the link here.
February is going to be a big month for me. I'm setting some pretty high goals for myself personally and professionally, but I'm confident there will be some interesting new developments in the next 4 weeks. Stay tuned and wish me luck!

I'll leave you with the Sunday morning breakfast palette I made for my roommate Brant and I two weeks ago. My first solid attempt at cooking a meal from scratch: Egg McMuffins and my dad's hash browns with orange juice. Mmmm...

The Egg McMuffins were amazing, and the hash browns weren't bad for a first try. I'd say they were a 8/10 (of their maximum potential).
